DIGNITY NO MATTER WHAT
‘It was a hot summer day in Florida. He had been walking outside most of the afternoon and was pretty dirty and sweaty.
“Don’t let this one arm fool ya. I can do as much work as most men with two arm. I can fight too!”
We sat in the grass and talked. He asked about my camera and I asked if he would mind if I took some pictures while we talked.
He smiled and said, “Nobody’s asked to take my picture before. You want I should take my cap off or should I leave it on? How bout this pose? Glasses or no glasses? Smile or serious?”
I just went with it. Finally he calmed down and we talked as I periodically made a picture.’
